We have been busy this last week making some new changes to PageSwirl we believe you’re going to absolutely love. :o)

First off, we improved the priority settings for each URL you add to your rotator. This feature is mainly for the Pro and GOLDPro members and the free members can’t change their priorities. Here’s what we did. We changed it from the three settings of Normal, High and Highest to 1-10 settings.

This means that you now can make one URL show 10 times before moving on to the next. Or 5 times if you’d like that better. In other words, whatever number you set it to… is the amount of times that URL will be shown before moving on to the next one in line. They always start from the first one on the list to the last (top down).

Now we didn’t stop there and wanted to also offer something for the free members too. So the next one is just as cool. You can now set the amount of hits you want per site in your rotator per day. This means if you only want one site to get 100 hits a day, you set it to 100 and as soon as it receives the 100 hits it will stop sending traffic to that site and move on to the others.

This is a great feature for those of you who use PageSwirl with Co-ops and to regulate the amount of traffic going to customers URLs. Keep in mind, this will automatically re-set each day. :o)

So for example: If you want a specific URL to get most of the traffic, but only want it to get 1000 hits a day you can set the priority to 10, then set the limit to 1000 hits. Once the traffic is delivered it will disable that site and move on to the next ones.

Very cool… and just in case I didn’t explain this well enough I made this video to show you how this works.
